Barbara Roffs was an American Drag Race winner who died in January 1991.  He is known to be a knockout, which was a pleasure to watch the race.  Let's take a look at his life and the causes of his death.

Life Just before her death

Barbara Roffs joined the drag racing scene as a trophy woman in the early 70s after the race evolved from the golden age of the sixties.  The older models of the cars were replaced by the latest models, while the previous dragsters were replaced with fuel with the driver's seats behind the motor.  Cars lessons got better over time.

The dress of the race attendant also changed.  Women's hair was lengthened, shorts were shortened and bras were burnt.  With her long straight hair, easy-going freedom tank and Gogo boots, she seemed like the ideal candidate for Famous Girl.  In the street corners of California by Doug Krause in the days of the Professional Dragster Association, only women of physique, as beautiful as Barbara Roffs, would fit into that space.  She was a lifesaver in racing, and created an image for and from the excitement of the audience.

It was until 2016 when Tom West, a renowned photographer, posted past photos of Barbara Roffs that his daughter was spotted and everyone was stunned.  Jett Dougherty (the name of her Facebook page) wrote about some of the things she remembers about her mother.  She shared that she had an exciting and happy life.  Unfortunately, these were short-lived.

  Jet said her mother would be happy to see pictures of her online and that was something she expected.  The next comment came from his daughter, Crystal Dougherty, who was thrilled to see her grandmother's photos posted online.  She said that she is extremely proud of her beauty.
